VIDEO: Berlin BOE hears reading presentation from kindergarteners

Video

Berlin has enjoyed a professional relationship with Columbia Teacher’s College for the past two years, according to Hubbard school principal Al Souza. Souza introduced kindergarten teachers Alli Dunn, Ali Lacroix, and Katie Wasilewski, who modeled for the board of education three games intended to teach kids better reading skills. Students Grace Foster, Alyssa Napolitano, Kylie Prytko, Cody Skypek, Meghan Snyder, and Grace Wood performed “Sing it,” “Act it out,” and “Play teacher.” These games are intended to promote foundational literacy skills.
